Amazon’s Career Choice program is an education benefit that empowers Amazon employees to learn new skills for career success at Amazon or elsewhere. Amazon provides a variety of education and upskilling opportunities including pre-paid college tuition, industry certifications designed to lead to in-demand jobs, and foundational skills such as English language, high school diplomas, and GEDs after working for the company for 90 days. By partnering with Florida State College at Jacksonville to deliver training for high-demand careers, Amazon is proud to give eligible employees the tools they need to make a move and pursue their aspirations.
The educators in the Amazon Career Choice Partner Network deliver on the commitment to provide associates with high-quality, supportive educational experiences that lead to new career opportunities outside of Amazon. Together, we are dedicated to providing education that is affordable, aligned with industry demand, and tailored to meet the unique learning needs of working adults. We are proud to join forces with these local, national and global partners.
Amazon Career Choice was launched in 2012 and has had more than 40,000 associates participate globally since inception. The program supports career paths in five fields of study: Transportation, Health Care, Information Technology, Mechanical and Skilled Trades and Business and Administrative Services.
How it works
Choose from any approved program. Follow these steps:
- Seek advising if needed. It's easy to sign up for an appointment at .
- Verify that your chosen program is eligible for Amazon Career Choice.
- Apply to FSCJ at apply.fscj.edu.
- Enroll in classes.
- Return to the Amazon A to Z portal and submit a payment request for your chosen school and program.
- The request will be sent to the school to confirm course level details, and either approve or deny the request.
- If approved, Amazon pays the school directly!

Amazon Associates can choose between enrolling in any Technical Certificate, Associate in Science or Bachelor's degree program at FSCJ.
