Program Overview
The Associate in Science (A.S.) in Surgical Services degree program provides students the educational development and hands-on training necessary to be able to work alongside doctors and surgical professionals in both clinical and surgical environments. The program combines classroom study, lab practice and clinical experience in the perioperative arena, which includes operating rooms, labor and delivery units, and anesthesia care.
Because the instruction embraces innovation and technology within operative, field and educational facilities, graduates are prepared to become an integral member of the surgical team and provide patients with the best in care as a surgical technologist.
