FSCJ Manta Rays Seeking Votes in National Mascot Bracket Challenge Championship

Florida State College at Jacksonville’s (FSCJ) Manta Rays have made it to the Championship in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA) Mascot Bracket Challenge. The College is asking the community to vote again in the Championship matchup beginning Thursday, March 5 starting at 1 p.m. on NJCAA’s Instagram Stories and X (Twitter).

Voting will take place over 24 hours to decide if the Manta Rays will be named champions. Votes across both social media platforms will be totaled to determine the winner.

Driven by the support of community voters, FSCJ students, faculty and staff, the Manta Rays came out on top over six rounds, most recently overcoming the Lamar Runnin’ Lopes in the Final 4. 

Instructions are below for when voting goes live:

• From @NJCAA Instagram: Tap the Story bubble (around the profile image), tap the screen until you find the Championship matchup graphic and click on the FSCJ Manta Rays button. Once you vote, the percentage bar will be displayed.
• From @NJCAA X (Twitter): Click on the Championship graphic that will be pinned at the top of the page. Find the FSCJ Manta Rays button and click it to share your vote.
