FSCJ Introduces Student Rotaract Club

Jun 9, 2022, 12:36 PM
FSCJ is excited to offer a Rotaract club to students this Fall.

If you have students who are interested in being part of the global community, want to make a positive change in the world, and have a place to share their ideas and look at the world’s challenges, encourage them to join the FSCJ Rotaract club.

Some of the benefits for students include:

  • Hands-on service projects
  • Fun networking and social activities
  • Professional development opportunities
  • An international network of young leaders

The club is being sponsored by the North Jacksonville Rotary Club. Dr. Monica Franklin will serve as the club advisor. Dr. Franklin thinks this club is an excellent fit for the School of Social, Behavioral and Health Sciences because of the strong service components. She has committed to partnering with the North Jacksonville Rotary Club for service activities, in addition to the service activities that will be initiated by the FSCJ Rotaract Club. FSCJ student Jessica Ross will serve as the FSCJ Rotaract Club president and Nathalie Swain will serve as the vice president. The FSCJ Rotaract Induction was held on Friday, June 24, 2016 at the North Jacksonville Rotary Club meeting. Please contact Jessica Ross at rossjd5@students.fscj.edu for more information.
