FSCJ is hosting the fifth annual Jacksonville Science Festival, a free three-day community-wide event promoting STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics) education in Jacksonville. Presented by FSCJ and the Foundation Academy, the festival, which takes place from February 23 – 25, aims to promote educational equity and justice in education.
The Jacksonville Science Festival serves as an opportunity for students, educators, experts, organizations, local businesses and community partners to come together to celebrate education with our community and surrounding regions.
Activities will include interactive booth presentations, food trucks, vendors, STEAM talks, live performances and plenty of fun, family-friendly activities. On February 23 and 24, the event will take place at South Campus from 9 a.m. – 2 p.m. On February 25 from 10 a.m. – 3 p.m., Metropolitan Park will host the event.
