Founded in 1995, the College Retirees’ Association is made up of staff, faculty, and administrators who have retired from FJC/FCCJ/Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ). We meet for lunch on the second Thursday of each month (except July and August) at 11:30 a.m. for lunch to discuss group business and hear 30-minute presentations on topics ranging from Medicare to senior safety and community organization engagement. The location varies, at a College campus location or a local restaurant. The cost of lunch is $15.
The College Retirees’ Association is a great way to keep abreast of college news, celebrate your service to FSCJ and stay in touch with FSCJ friends and colleagues. You might even meet a few new ones as well! Members get a monthly newsletter that includes a recap of the previous month’s meeting, minutes of the latest Board of Trustees meeting, and announcements of upcoming meetings. The association’s annual dues are only $15.
