Career Connect Grant

FSCJ was recently awarded a grant from the Kids Hope Alliance to establish Career Connect. Geared specifically to youth ages 16-21 who identify as low income, have barriers to traditional high school settings or have juvenile justice involvement, Career Connect will help these youth work toward completing their high school diploma, GED® or obtaining a career certification.

In addition to the high school diploma completion tracks, each student enrolled in the program can apply for career certification in the following areas:

  • Certified Nursing Assistant
  • Phlebotomy
  • Python I
  • Commercial Vehicle Driving
  • Facials Specialty
  • Cosmetology
  • Welding
  • Medical Assisting
  • Automotive Collision Technology Technician

Classes for Adult High School and GED® Certificate are as follows:

(A12) May 6 – July 30, 2024 (GED® & Adult High School)
(B12) May 28- August 20, 2024 (GED® & Adult High School)
(A7) May 6– June 25, 2024 (Adult High School Only)
(C7) July 1 – August 20, 2024 (Adult High School Only)
