Career Connect Grant

FSCJ is awarded a grant from Kids Hope Alliance for the Career Connect program. This initiative is designed to assist Duval County youth aged 16-21 who identify as low-income, encounter challenges in traditional high school settings, or have been involved with the juvenile justice system. Career Connect aims to help these individuals earn their GED® through the Adult Education program and gain a career or workforce certification.

Adult Education Track:

Adult Education and GED® Preparation courses are offered during the Fall, Spring, and Summer terms. Morning and evening classes are available at several locations, including the Downtown, North, Kent, and South Campuses, as well as online options.

Adult Basic Education involves non-credit courses designed to develop literacy skills necessary to prepare students to enroll in GED Test preparation courses.
