Alternative ways to earn credit

You may be eligible to receive credit toward this degree through Prior Learning Assessment. Examples include industry certifications, certain PSAV programs, credit by examination, or creating a portfolio of learning experiences. Degree Options

Students are eligible to sit for the Certification exam through the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board to become a Nationally Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) prior to graduation. Once graduated from a Board of Pharmacy approved program, students will apply for the Florida State Board of Pharmacy Registration to become a Registered Pharmacy Technician (RPhT) in the state of Florida.

Career Opportunities

Students will have the skills to work as pharmacy technicians in pharmacies housed in hospitals, retail stores, satellite locations within clinics, acute care centers, to name a few.
