Program Overview

The Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) in Digital Media degree program provides students with a diverse foundation of skills and abilities on which to build a successful career through advancement in the workplace or furthering their education at the graduate level. The program focuses on critical job functions, roles and responsibilities of employment in the digital media industry. Critical thinking, problem solving and advanced digital media production skills are emphasized while the curriculum includes applied hands-on instruction in state-of-the-art computer labs working on individual and team-based critical path projects.

Graduates will gain an understanding of the inner workings of production and its relationship to various industries with a focus on visual story telling. Upon completion of the degree, students will be prepared for a variety of digital media production jobs in an assortment of of industry sectors from corporate production to agency design.
