Program Overview
The Fire Officer Supervisor Technical Certificate (T.C.) increases management skills for professionals employed as firefighters. The purpose of this certificate is to prepare students for employment in firefighting and prevention supervision to control and extinguish fires, protect life and property and conduct rescue efforts. The program is also beneficial to professionals seeking career field enhancement.

A student must successfully complete the basic recruit program in firefighting to become certified, pursuant to Chapter 633, Florida Statutes.
This program does not complete the requirements to be eligible to sit for Bureau of Fire Standards and Training (BFST) certification exams. A student must contact the Bureau of Fire Standards and Training (BFST) for additional requirements.
