After graduating from FSCJ with an Associate in Science (A.S.) in Digital Media Technology in 2017, Jacob embarked on an exciting career in radio, reporting live traffic on multiple radio stations in Jacksonville for Cox Media Group.

Jacob's dedication to furthering his education led him back to FSCJ, where he earned a Bachelor of Applied Science (B.A.S.) in Communications/Mass Media in 2022. This achievement opened the door to his current role as a Public Information Officer for the Florida Department of Transportation (FDOT).

In his role, Jacob coordinates, plans, organizes and directs public outreach efforts and programs for FDOT District Two - Northeast Florida. He utilizes his FSCJ teachings daily, analyzing project area demographics to determine the best public outreach approaches. Jacob's expertise in photography, video production, graphic design and social media content creation plays a crucial role in developing and implementing effective public involvement and communications strategies.

Jacob's journey is a testament to the power of education and the endless possibilities it brings. We are proud to have Jacob as part of our FSCJ family and look forward to seeing his continued success.
