The Aviation Mechanic Technical Certificate (T.C.) prepares students for entry into the aviation maintenance industry. Commercial and general aviation employers are looking for skilled individuals who are knowledgeable on Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) standards and techniques and have experience with aircraft, avionics and engines through practical training. Accreditation

The Aviation Maintenance Technology (AMT) professional courses are FAA-certified and comply with Federal Aviation Regulation (FAR) Part 147.

Certifications and Licenses

Aviation Mechanic T.C. coursework prepares students for the FAA Mechanic "General" written, oral and practical certificate examinations for the Airframe or Powerplant Mechanic rating. With this rating, you will be qualified for a position as an aviation maintenance technician. Both the FAA certificate and this technical certificate articulate into the Aviation Maintenance Management Associate in Science (A.S.) degree.
