The College Reach-Out Program (CROP) at Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) helps students in grades 6–12 discover their potential and prepare for a successful future. Funded by the Florida Department of Education, CROP provides academic support, college and career exploration, leadership development, and educational enrichment opportunities designed to help students achieve their goals.
Through personalized guidance, engaging workshops, campus experiences, and family involvement, CROP equips students with the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to graduate from high school, pursue higher education, and succeed in college and beyond. We believe every student deserves the opportunity to dream bigger, reach higher, and achieve their full potential.
Who qualifies?
- Students in grades 6 through 12
- Students who meet academic and economic criteria
- Students who desire to attend college and need assistance in planning for their future

Where is the program held? Most CROP activities are provided at participants’ schools to ensure convenient access to services. Additional program activities are held at Florida State College at Jacksonville’s Downtown Campus, with select services and workshops offered virtually.
