In 2020, a time when the world was in one of the most unpredictable stages, Dana Stanfield earned his Associate in Arts (A.A.) from FSCJ. Dana’s journey started out with him pursuing and earning a GED through FSCJ’s Adult Education program, where he gained confidence to keep growing in his studies.
Receiving support and encouragement from faculty members Leo Collins and Nakima Taylor, Dana credits them with helping him believe in himself academically. After receiving his GED, he continued at FSCJ and enrolled in the A.A. program where he was awarded a degree, graduating with a 3.77 GPA. From there, Dana went on to study at the University of Florida, graduating with honors.
