Better You Active You Program (5-weeks)  
Employees are invited to participate in the Better You Active You 5-week program presented by Florida Blue. This in-person program is designed to offer skills and strategies to create healthy habits around physical activity. Once registered, employees will meet weekly with a Florida Blue facilitator at the Downtown Campus for guidance on how to develop and maintain a personal exercise routine. A healthy lunch option will be provided for registered participants attending weekly sessions. The program begins on Tuesday, April 2, and employees attending 4 out of 5 sessions will earn $20 in rewards. Sign up for this 5-week program today! 

Employee Recreational Sports - May 13 to August 15  
Opening day for the annual FSCJ Employee Recreational Sports will be Monday, May 13. This employee wellness initiative provides College employees with fun co-ed recreational sports opportunities to enjoy May 13 through August 15. All employees are welcome to participate and no sign-up is needed.

Nutritional wellness is an important part of leading a healthy lifestyle. Combined with physical activity, your diet can help you to reach and maintain a healthy weight, reduce risk of chronic diseases and promote your overall health.

Financial wellness refers to the “overall financial health of an individual” and is sometimes used interchangeably with financial well-being. Financial wellness is making the responsible decision to live within your means and set financial goals that will positively impact your financial future

Emotional wellness is how well one can recognize and express emotions. Social wellness is creating and maintaining positive relationships. Both elements are inclusive of knowing that you can make great moments even on bad days.

Spiritual wellness is seeking harmony and balance by openly exploring the depth of human purpose, meaning and connection through dialogue and self-reflection. In this aspect you are likely to find meaning, purpose, appreciation, and your guiding compass.
