Marketing and Communications

The Florida State College at Jacksonville Marketing and Communications office is responsible for leading the Collegewide Strategic Marketing and Communications Plan and strengthening FSCJ's visibility, image and brand to both external and internal constituents. We lead the strategic direction for FSCJ's brand identity and key messaging and are responsible for organizing and implementing FSCJ's marketing, communications, media relations, social media and public relation efforts and activities.

Our department is comprised of two units, Client Marketing/Creative Services and Communications (including the fscj.edu website and social media). We serve different functions for a variety of audiences and work together across campuses, centers, programs and services on project teams to ensure brand and key message consistency, both visually and contextually.

The Marketing and Communications team works within FSCJ's Institutional Effectiveness and Accreditation division to design, develop and implement institutional advancement strategies that most effectively utilize FSCJ’s marketing, communications, public relations, social media and web presence capabilities.

The Client Marketing and Creative Services team has two marketing communications managers who work with campuses, centers and academic schools across the College to support and manage their strategic marketing and communication initiatives. This team is also dedicated to visual design across all mediums and platforms. The team produces all student recruitment materials, advertisements for the tactical and brand building campaigns.

The Communications team, which includes the web development team, integrated communications team and audio/video production specialists, are responsible for the design and maintenance of the FSCJ.EDU website, media relations, public relations, social media and multimedia productions to support marketing, recruitment, enrollment services and other Collegewide strategic initiatives.
