Why do I have to get my refund through BankMobile Disbursements?

Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) is committed to providing the most efficient services to our students. Partnering with a Department of Education approved vendor allows us to distribute our students' refunds using the secure delivery methods of BankMobile Disbursements, a technology solution, powered by BMTX, Inc.

How are colleges refunds and financial aid disbursements from Florida State College at Jacksonville delivered to students?

To receive a refund or financial aid disbursement, you can select a refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements.

If you do not select a refund preference, the default action is that BankMobile Disbursements will send a paper check approximately two weeks after your funds have arrived on your BankMobile Disbursements record. Make sure you update your current address through your myFSCJ student portal to ensure that you receive your check in a timely manner.

How do I select my refund preference?

Follow these easy steps to select your refund preference with BankMobile Disbursements:

  1. Log into myFSCJ.edu
  2. In the Student Center click on the Financial Account tile
  3. Select Setup Refund Preference
  4. This will direct you to the BankMobile Disbursement page
  5. Use your student email address for your initial login
  6. Follow the instructions on BankMobile Disbursements page to select your refund preference.

NOTE: You will need to turn off your pop-up blockers for the BankMobile Disbursements window to come up.

 

Please make sure that you have the most current address on file with the College. P.O. Box addresses are not accepted.

What if the BankMobile Disbursements link is not available in MyFSCJ?

If you cannot locate the BankMobile Disbursements link, the College could be missing vital information from your student account and needs to be updated immediately to prevent additional delays.
