Training for Employers
DeafTEC also provides free training for employers to help companies develop the sensitivity and skills needed to successfully integrate Deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals into the workplace.
Working Together is a workshop developed by the National Technical Institute for the Deaf’s Center on Employment. It helps employers learn to communicate effectively with Deaf and hard-of-hearing employees, and provides hands-on activities that can help both Deaf and hearing colleagues work together.
This workshop is available at no cost to interested companies.
