Dr. Mary Lee Cunill is a professor of communication at FSCJ. She is passionate about helping people see and actualize their potential, especially in the service of others and for improving the world in which we live. Her approach is engaging, interactive and self-reflective.
Professor Tina Davis is a professor of biological sciences at FSCJ Nassau Center. She is a Nassau County native and has been a valued faculty member at FSCJ for 10 years.
Dr. Samantha Ertenberg, known as Dr. E to her students, has been at FSCJ since 2012 and truly loves being able to work with students. She teaches English and is an advocate for students to explore and develop their own voices in this world.
Professor Chris Lee teaches hardware configuration, software configuration and network fundamentals (Cisco 1). He serves as an internship coordinator within the areas of industry and technology, and is involved in a variety of projects and committees at the College.
Jon Lyon is a Professor of Business with a primary focus on finance. He serves as Chairman of the Board of First Florida Credit Union and has worked for the College since 1982, beginning as an adjunct and transitioning to full-time faculty in 1989.
Dr. Lourdes Norman-McKay is a medical scientist who earned her Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from the Pennsylvania State University College of Medicine.
Bill Meisel is a professor of mathematics at FSCJ's Downtown Campus and has been a faculty member since 2005. When he is not teaching, he performs with the Jacksonville Symphony Chorus.
Cheryl Schmidt has worked for FSCJ for more than 30 years in the IT department, serving as both an adjunct and full-time professor.
Dr. Shep Shepard has been a full-time faculty member at FSCJ since 2004. He moved to the Nassau Center in 2016 where he teaches both ENC 1101 and ENC 1102.
Matthew Simmons is currently a Professor of Mathematics at the FSCJ Nassau Center. As a long-time resident of Nassau County, he enjoys teaching in the very community where he grew up.
Dr. Harvey Slentz teaches Business Law and Employment Law at FSCJ. Outside the classroom, he actively practices law, is a treasure hunter, and has been a stand-up comic.
Professor Rachelle Wadsworth teaches in both the History and Humanities departments. When not discussing history or Japanese/Asian culture, she investigates all things concerning “The Witcher,” “The Mandalorian” ("This is The Way") and what new RPGs have popped up on XBOX and PS4.
Professor Haylan Washington teaches mathematics at FSCJ. When he is not teaching or learning about mathematical concepts, he travels around the U.S. participating in bowling tournaments.
