Associate and baccalaureate graduates and candidates for graduation will be honored by Florida State College at Jacksonville on May 7, 2020 at the Vystar Veterans Memorial Arena.
Participation in the Commencement Ceremony is encouraged, but not required for graduation. Students are responsible for determining that all graduation requirements are complete. Graduation requirements can be found in the College catalog.
Eligibility to Participate in Commencement
To participate in the 2020 Commencement Ceremony, students must meet one of the following
1. Student has earned an Associate or Baccalaureate degree in the Summer or Fall of 2019
2. Student has an expected graduation date of Spring 2020 on their student record
3. Student has summer registration that will result in a Baccalaureate or Associate degree. Student must meet with an advisor or submit a help desk ticket, using these fields — Category: myFSCJ, Subcategory: Commencement, Assignment Group: CS Student Records.
All eligible students should register through their Student Center in their myFSCJ account. Click on the "Other Academic" drop-down menu and choose "Graduation Status." From there, click on the "Update Commencement RSVP" link. Eligible students will receive an email to their FSCJ student account regarding registration. If you believe you are eligible and have not received an email, please schedule an appointment with an advisor and select ‘Graduation Check’ or open a help desk ticket for online assistance using these fields – Category: myFSCJ, Subcategory: Commencement, Assignment Group: CS Student Records.
