What about working at FSCJ inspires you?
What inspires me most about working at this institution is the opportunity I'm afforded each and every day to make a difference in the lives of students; who in turn, become productive citizens in this great community. Honestly, there aren't many professions where "what you do" changes the future.
What was your biggest challenge in college and how did you overcome it?
My biggest challenge was believing in myself. I felt so out of place. I was a mother in my forties. I didn't graduate from a conventional high school and I was definitely one of the "oldest on campus." At the close of each semester I'd post my grades on the kitchen fridge to serve as a reminder that anyone with desire and determination can achieve.
