FSCJ Students Named to 2019 All-Florida Academic Team

JACKSONVILLE, Fla. – Two Florida State College at Jacksonville (FSCJ) students were named to the 2019 All-Florida Academic Team in recognition of their academic achievement, leadership and community service efforts.

FSCJ Students Bradley Ruiz and Zaumyuawng Wabaw were among the 158 students across the state to be selected for the team. All honorees were recognized by Chancellor Kathy Hebda at an awards ceremony on April 4, 2019, in Orlando.

Honorees were nominated by their respective colleges for the All-USA Academic Team competition, which is sponsored by the Phi Theta Kappa International Honor Society.

“We congratulate all of the students who were selected to join this prestigious group of scholars, most especially Bradley and Zaumyuawng,” said Interim College President Kevin Hyde. “This honor is a wonderful representation of their dedication to the College, their academic pursuit and this community.”
