What is Open Enrollment

  • Open Enrollment gives employees an opportunity to review and make changes to health, dental, vision benefits for 2023.

When is Open Enrollment

  • Monday, October 17, 2022 through Friday, October 28, 2022.

 What Must I do
  • Employees must make a health plan selection. No action will result in enrollment into the PPO Gold Plan at their current coverage level (ex. Employee plus one).

Updates for 2023

  • Three new plan offerings - PPO Gold, HMO Gold, HDHP Silver. If an employee does not select a plan, they will automatically be enrolled in the PPO Gold plan.
  • IRS annual limits for HSA – Individual $3,850 and Family $7,750 (includes College/Consortium contributions). To be eligible for an HSA, employees must enroll in the High Deductible Health Plan (HDHP).
  • College HSA contribution - $1,000.
  • Consortium HSA contribution - $300 Employee only, $600 Employee plus one, $900 Employee plus family.
  • IRS limits for medical FSA - $2,750.
  • IRS limits for dependent care FSA - $5,000

  • Supplemental Life Insurance for you, your spouse and/or child(ren).
  • Sick Leave Pool membership for all full-time employees that meet eligibility rules, reference APM 03-1006 and/or Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA).

    Forms Needed if Adding Dependents

    • Click here for Child Supplemental Life Verification (required if adding dependent children 19-25 years old).

    Remove any overage dependents (ages 19-26) not eligible to participate in 2023.

    • Health, Dental and Vision – Dependents may remain on plan through the calendar year in which they turn 26 with no eligibility requirements.
    • Child Life Insurance – You may have a dependent listed on a child life policy through the calendar year in which they turn 25, as long as they are a tax dependent or a FT/PT student. This must be verified yearly.
