Student Recruitment Outreach Update

Instant Decision Days Held at Area High Schools

FSCJ Admissions and Recruitment along with the UNF SOAR program and other colleges recently held Instant Decision Days at high schools throughout Jacksonville. They visited Mandarin High School, Paxon School of Advanced Studies with students from Edward H. White High School, Wolfson School for Advanced Studies with students from Robert E. Lee High School, and Terry Parker High School with students from Westside High School.

The admission and recruitment team enjoyed sharing in the excitement as students found out they were accepted and would be receiving scholarships. The event was a great reminder of the impact that we all have in our community as FSCJ employees.

FSCJ Hosts Form Your Future with Partner Institutions

In partnership with the University of North Florida, Edward Waters College, Duval County Public Schools, the Nassau County School District, Year Up Jacksonville, Earn Up and the JAX Chamber, FSCJ hosted Form Your Future on November 18 at Downtown Campus and Nassau Center.

While there, close to 200 students and their families were able to receive financial aid guidance, support completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) form and support to help with the transition into college.
