The Administrative & Professional Collaborative (APC) is the representative voice for the Administrative & Professional employees of FSCJ. In an effort to build cohesiveness, awareness and collegiality, each month we put a “spotlight” on one of our members.

October’s Administrative and Professional Collaborative spotlight shines on Wendy Ruddock-Williams, associate dean of arts and sciences at Kent Campus/Cecil Center.

Wendy has been with Kent Campus and the College for five years, serving as academic success manager, learning commons manager and, as of July 1, 2015, associate dean of arts and sciences. Prior to joining FSCJ, she taught math at Georgia Perimeter College in Atlanta, as well as to high school and adult education students in Detroit.

Wendy has a Bachelor of Science in Applied Engineering Sciences from Michigan State University and a Master of Arts in Teaching Mathematics from University of Detroit Mercy.

A traveler from an early age, she was born in England to Jamaican parents, grew up in Detroit, moved to Atlanta, and now lives in Jacksonville. To her, home is where she’s currently residing.

Besides traveling, Wendy loves spending time at the beach, live concerts, plays, food and music festivals and going to the movies. Her daughter is a senior in high school and plays the violin for the Jacksonville Symphony Youth Orchestra.

Our spotlight shines on each campus/center at least once a year.  Nominations for the spotlight may be directed to your campus representative or any officer.
