The 2017 Commencement Ceremony is just around the corner, scheduled to take place on Thursday, May 11, at 4 p.m. at the Jacksonville Veterans Memorial Arena. This year the ceremony will begin with a full processional, beginning with our students first, followed by faculty/staff and platform guests in full regalia. Faculty/staff will be seated together in a reserved section this year instead of at the end of rows with students.
All faculty members are asked to participate in the formal procession leading in to the ceremony.
Like last year, we have an online registration system for Commencement.
Please be sure to register by April 26 by filling out this brief form.
Once you have registered, you will receive information about how to obtain a parking pass for the ceremony. If you need to rent regalia, you must reserve your regalia between March 1 and March 31 at your campus bookstore.
Students must register online by April 12 for their name to be included in the Commencement program. The online registration system is now available on fscj.edu/commencement. Please assist in informing students of this important deadline. Students who have questions regarding their eligibility to participate in Commencement should speak with an advisor.
General information about the 2017 Commencement Ceremony can be found at fscj.edu/commencement. If you have additional questions, please email firstname.lastname@example.org.
Leading up to and during the ceremony, feel free to use the hashtag #fscjgrad2017 to promote the ceremony on social media.
