Faculty Are Invited to Register for Free DeafTEC Workshops

The DeafTEC program provides free training and resources for faculty to improve College access for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students and will enhance the student learning experience for all.

Project Access/Universal Design in Learning 
Learn about the Universal Design in Learning theory and how to put it into practice for students. Whether teaching online, face-to-face or hybrid courses, this training will provide resources to make educational materials more accessible and engaging for all students — especially those who are Deaf and hard of hearing. Course Number: 5155

Writing in the Disciplines
Students need practice and a variety of experiences to become strong writers. This is especially important for Deaf and hard-of-hearing students who often have limited writing experiences. Learn strategies for infusing writing in courses across disciplines. While this workshop is geared toward STEM instructors, strategies can be implemented by all faculty. Course Number: 5226
