Students from FSCJ’s health science programs showcased their creative talents as part of the Buddy Bra event hosted by the North Campus Art Gallery on October 15.
Thanks to the generosity of donors, more than $1,000 was raised to go toward the purchase of the BuddyBus, a mobile mammography unit project with First Coast News and Baptist/MD Anderson Cancer Center. The donations also helped purchase pink bras that students decorated to raise awareness about breast cancer screenings.
Participating programs included cardiovascular technology, physical therapy assistant, ophthalmic technician, health information technology, medical laboratory technology, histologic technology, radiation therapy, dental hygiene and the Deerwood Programming Board.
