September is National Campus Safety Awareness Month
9/12/2018

Throughout the month of September, FSCJ is honoring National Campus Safety Awareness Month by encouraging all students, faculty and staff to download the FSCJ Safe mobile app. The app has many helpful features designed to keep you safe. The Mobile BlueLight will dial Campus Security and send them your location in the event of an emergency. Another important feature is the Virtual Walkhome that allows FSCJ Campus Security to monitor as you are walking on campus and, at any point during your walk, you can select "Emergency" which will dial 911. Take some time to download the app from the App Store or on Google Play.

One other useful resource is FSCJ’s Emergency Notification System. If you are signed up for the alert system, you will receive a text message in the event of an emergency. All faculty, staff and students are strongly encouraged to register their cellphone numbers for FSCJ Emergency Text Alerts at fscj.edu/discover/public-safety-security/emergency-information. There you'll also find other helpful emergency information.
