Support Resources

First, Contact your Professor

Please keep in mind your instructors are working quickly to learn and transition content from a face-to-face format to online. Questions about course materials, tests, quizzes, and assignments can only be provided by your instructor, so please contact them first. They may guide you to the other resources listed below. Faculty contact information can be found in your course syllabus, the FSCJ directory, or within Canvas’ Help button under the link ‘Ask Your Instructor a Question’.

Canvas Support is Available 24/7

Contact Canvas Support for help while working in Canvas, for example how to submit an assignment or other functionality. Find Canvas Support under the Help icon located in the blue global navigation bar of Canvas. There, you will find a phone number or link to join a live chat with a Canvas Support representative.

For help with technical issues, visit help.fscj.edu to search our knowledge base or contact the technical support team directly via phone (904.632.3151 or toll-free at 877.572.8895) or email (service.desk@fscj.edu).

Military and Veteran Students

Please contact vets@fscj.edu for military-specific questions or call Military and Veterans Services at (904) 357-8890. If you want to work with a Vet Success Coach, visit https://www.fscj.edu/military-veterans/vetsuccess-on-campus.

Health and Wellness

Per guidelines from the Centers for Disease Control, if you think you may have been exposed to COVID-19 and begin to develop symptoms, you should first call your health care provider to determine what you should do next.

If you think you may have been exposed to coronavirus through recent travel or through someone who had symptoms and need to self-isolate, please email travel@fscj.edu and contact each of your professors directly to make arrangements to complete all of your assignments and meet the academic requirements for courses in which you are currently enrolled.

We understand that this is a confusing time for everyone, and it is important to seek assistance if you are feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety or other demands. As an FSCJ student, you can access the Student Assistance Program for help. This free and confidential service through Health Advocate can connect you with the resources you need to cope with College-related, personal, legal or financial issues that may be affecting you, especially during this difficult time. Learn more.
