Aviation Operations (2353)

Associate in Science

This program prepares you to pursue a career in aviation technical, administrative or management positions in public, private or government aviation operations, or in military aviation as a commissioned officer or pilot. You can gain the entry-level knowledge and skills you need to become an airline business manager, air traffic controller or airport manager.

You may receive college credit for previous flight and ground school courses, or currently held FAA certificates; however, awarding of such credit will be based solely on Florida Community College at Jacksonville’s evaluation of your certificate(s), training and competency. Once enrolled under the 20032004 or later catalog, you will only receive college credit for flight training earned through a Florida Community College at Jacksonville contracted flight school.
