Computer Specialist (Cisco CCNP) (6275)

A Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) is one of the most valued and well-rewarded occupations in the technology industry. CCNPs install and maintain the computer networks that run everything from conveyor belts to research robots.

The Computer Specialist (Cisco CCNP) certificate includes the eight courses required for the first two levels of Cisco certification, Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP) and Security+. These respected certifications are highly valued by employers who hire individuals to install and maintain computer networks, from large corporations with their own networking departments to small networking contractors.

The coursework emphasizes hands-on experience with state-of-the-art equipment. Work experience or prior coursework in computer repair and configuration is recommended for students entering this program.
