Find out about tuition discounts available to Florida State College at Jacksonville graduates and employees through our articulation agreements and statewide partnerships.

Tuition Discounts

  • Capella University offers a 10 percent discount to FSCJ employees. The 10 percent discount extends to full-time and part-time FSCJ employees and is awarded to all FSCJ faculty and staff, alumni, regardless of degree (bachelor's, master's, doctorate). The discount applies to all courses in the degree program.
  • Nova Southeastern University H. Wayne Huizenga School of Business and Entrepreneurship offers FSCJ students, staff and faculty a tuition reduction (equal to 20 percent per credit hour off the ground-course tuition rate) toward all Huizenga Master's programs (except M.S. in leadership), associated concentrations and all Huizenga graduate certificates.
  • Franklin University offers a free Online Learning Strategies course to FSCJ employees. This university offers a 15 percent discount to full- or part-time permanent FSCJ employees enrolled in an undergraduate program at Franklin. This university offers a 10 percent discount to full- or part-time permanent FSCJ employees enrolled in a graduate program at Franklin. FSCJ employees must submit the Franklin University Tuition Reduction Request Form each term – including employment verification. The tuition reduction benefit is for Franklin University tuition only. Franklin offers a Military Family Member Discount which entitles eligible students to a 15 percent discount on a bachelor’s degree and a 10 percent discount on a master’s degree.
  • Northcentral University offers a 10 percent discount to FSCJ employees and recent graduates.
  • Regis University offers a 10 percnet discount to full-time FSCJ employees.
  • University of Maryland University College offers transfer scholarships to eligible staff members of participating community colleges in the United States.

Transfer Student Application Fee Waivers

Strayer University – FSCJ graduates utilizing the existing articulation agreement can have the Strayer application fee waived.

University of Maryland University College - UMUC will waive the $50 admission application fee if the student completes the online UNUM admission application prior to graduating from the community/state college, with the intent that the student will enroll at UMUC after completing the associate degree at FSCJ.

Office of Student Financial Assistance: State Grant and Scholarship Programs
This website provides a list of each State of Florida Grant and Scholarship Program, many of which can be used by community college transfer students to help pay for your education at the college or university where you transfer. Some of these programs include private colleges and universities in Florida, in addition to the state universities.
