MYTechHire offers free, innovative employer-driven training and certification in Advanced Manufacturing and Information Technology that can quickly lead to well-paying, high-growth, skilled jobs in these two key industry sectors.

The Advanced Manufacturing pathway includes a series of certification courses that combine lecture and hands-on learning. Courses are held at FSCJ’s Advanced Technology Center.

Certifications include:

  • Certified Production Technician
  • OSHA 30 General Industry (Occupational Safety and Health Administration)
  • HAZWOPER 40 (Hazardous Waste Operations and Emergency Response)

The Information Technology courses are offered in a classroom format with online tools and hands-on labs proctored by industry-certified instructors.

Certifications include:

  • CompTIA A+
  • Network+

Eligibility:

Individuals 17-29 with barriers to training and employment, or are unemployed/underemployed or currently work in lower-skill, lower-wage, front line IT or Advanced Manufacturing positions and are in need of training to advance. At the time of application, participants cannot already be enrolled in a secondary or post-secondary educational program (i.e. High School, GED®, certification or degree programs).
