The Nursing Assistant training program is designed to equip students with important health care concepts and the professional career development skills necessary to help patients perform basis tasks within a long-term care, acute care or rehabilitation facility. Under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse, Certified Nursing Assistants play a key role in the lives of their patients and in keeping the nurse up-to-date on vital information about patients’ conditions.

This program introduces students to the basic skills necessary to be a professional and competent member of a patient’s health care team. This comprehensive program includes classroom training, simulated laboratory exercises, hands-on experience and a CNA exam prep boot camp.

Other Requirements:

  • U.S. citizen or legal immigrant
  • At least 18 years of age
  • High School Diploma or GED®
  • Undergo a Background Check and fingerprinting
  • Undergo Drug Screening

**Screening Information sent to student after registration**

Program Requirements PRIOR to Clinical:

  • Undergo a physical exam
  • Provide proof of up-to-date immunizations & Test
  • American Heart Association CPR/AED/BLS Certification

**Physical Exam & Immunization Documents are provided to students after registration**
