This course is designed for Registered Nurses who are looking to take a nursing refresher course or have been required by the Florida Board of Nursing to complete an RN Refresher course in order to enter/re-enter the RN health care profession in the state of Florida.

You will be provided an overview of the current status of the health care delivery system, the legal, ethical and cultural issues that impact the nursing practice, along with IV therapy and managed care issues. This Florida State Board of Nursing-approved course meets the state of Florida mandated guidelines of 80 instructional hours, plus 96 clinical hours.

Other Requirements:

  • Undergo a Background Check and fingerprinting
  • Undergo Drug Screening

Program Requirements PRIOR to Clinical:

  • Undergo a physical exam
  • Provide proof of up-to-date immunizations & Test
  • American Heart Association CPR/AED/BLS Certification (CPR Class included)
