FSCJ's 5th Annual Student Research Conference scheduled for April 5, 2019 at Deerwood Center

The student conference is a great opportunity to present unique research, improve presentation skills and engage in thoughtful dialogue with faculty, fellow panelists and guests.

Students can present their work on topics either in a paper presentation facilitated by faculty moderators or in a poster session. Examples of topic ideas are health sciences, literature, technology, business just to name a few.

Schedule of events:

7:30−8:30 a.m.                     Registration
8 a.m.−noon                         Program/Group Presentations
Noon−1:30 p.m.                   Lunch & Keynote Speaker, Andrew Pantazi, The Florida Times-Union

Afternoon session:

1:30−4 p.m.                          Program/Group Presentations
4−5 p.m.                               Awards and Scholarship Presentations

Keynote Speaker

Andrew Pantazi, a Jacksonville native and FSCJ alumni, has worked at The Florida Times-Union for six years, covering prosecutors, public defenders and judges. He specializes in using data to tell stories about why things go wrong. Pantazi is married to Lauren and the father of Calvin and Ari Sojourner. He is also president of his local union, the Times-Union Guild.
