About Accounting Technology (A.S.)

If you like working with numbers, are organized and have an eye for detail, you can begin your climb up the corporate ladder with our Associate in Science (A.S.) in Accounting Technology. It will provide you with a solid foundation in all aspects of accounting practices used in a range of organizational settings. This accounting degree includes three technical accounting certificates – Accounting Technology Management, Accounting Technology Operations and Accounting Technology Specialist – which can be earned individually to develop or upgrade your skills while you complete your degree. After earning an accounting degree, you can choose to begin an accounting career as a bookkeeper, auditor, payroll or credit coordinator or other related accounting jobs. Students can also continue on to our bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Financial Services, or Supervision and Management for even greater professional opportunities.

The A.S. Accounting Technology degree program is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
