If you're interested in beginning a new aviation career or are looking to add powerplant to your Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) airframe rating for advanced aviation careers, our Workforce Certificate (W.C.) in Aviation Powerplant Mechanics will prepare you for FAA certification. Whether performing routine aviation mechanic maintenance or major repairs, an aircraft mechanic’s job is vitally important for the well-being of passengers and crew. That is why thorough hands-on aircraft mechanics training by experienced professionals is essential. At FSCJ, you will receive the proper aircraft training for thousands less than the for-profit institutions.

Engine fundamentals, ignition systems, fuel metering and induction systems, exhaust, cooling and lubrication, fire protection, troubleshooting and FAA regulations are included in our in-depth instruction. Prepare for career takeoff as an aviation maintenance technician with the FAA Powerplant rating.

The Aviation Powerplant Mechanics Workforce Certificate will ensure you are prepared for FAA certification exams and the FAA Powerplant rating. You will be qualified for a rewarding career in the general and commercial aviation industries as an aviation maintenance technician or this certificate may also be used toward the A.S. in Aviation Maintenance Management.
