Director, Learning Innovations (Digital Media Production)

Rusty Gardner

Rusty, came to Florida State College at Jacksonville in 1999, and currently is Director, Learning Innovations (Digital Media Production), reporting to Rob Rennie.

Some of Rusty’s responsibilities include implementing a streaming and distribution system for digital content as well as the development of digital content for educational purposes.

A few of Rusty’s ongoing project include systems such as Podcast Producer and MediaWorks as well as the development of educational media.

Rusty likes Boating and Photography during his free time. At this time he calls lives Orange Park Florida home. He also servers on the National Staff of the Coast Guard Auxiliary as a Brach Chief as well a numerous other Boating originations. In 2010 Rusty received the Regional Award for promoting Boating Safety from The National Water Safety Congress.

Highlights

Rusty graduated with an MA in Religious Education from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary and a BA in Psychology from Carson Newman College.
