Engineer II - Network

Richard McIntosh

Richard, came to Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2011, and currently is Engineer II - Network, reporting to John Slevin.

Richard is responsible for IP camera systems, keypad entry, maintaining network operations, and designing and implementing network upgrades.

Some of Richard’s projects include deploying security cameras throughout the college and working with the security staff to ensure student safety.

Richard likes to play with his dogs, read, go camping, and play video games during his downtime.

Highlights

Richard graduated with an AS in IT Security from Florida State College at Jacksonville. He also obtained the Cisco Certified Network Associate certification from Cisco in June of 2008.
