John D. (J.D.) Hudnall
JD came to Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2008, and currently is Engineer II - Network, reporting to John Slevin.
JD is responsible for the Wireless Network, Digital Signage, and Video Surveillance for the college. In addition, JD is an Information Transport Systems Layer 1 Engineer and Building Industry Consulting Services International (BICSI) member for the Information Transport Systems Team with 10+ years of field experience in design and installation.
Some of JD’s projects include the roll out of the 802.11N wireless network, standardization of digital signage, and working with the network team to optimize resources by redesigning the Point of Presence Center as well as the Network Operations Data Centers.
JD likes to run 5k, 10K, half and full Marathons, waterski, visit with friends and family and race his truck on his downtime. He lives in Jacksonville, Florida. JD is a member of BICSI to help advance information technology systems.

Highlights
JD graduated with an Associates degree in I.T. Security from Florida State College at Jacksonville and is currently working towards the completion of his B.S. degree in Networking at Florida State College at Jacksonville. JD is also working towards his BICSI Registered Communications Distribution Designer (RCDD) Certification.
