Emad Abou Tabl

Emad, came to Florida State College at Jacksonville in 2009, and currently is an audio\video production specialist, reporting to Rusty Gardner.

Emad is responsible for operating Comcast Channel-26’s everyday operation tasks. Emad also assists in developing new strategies in improved overall system performance and stability in the TV Studio.

Some of Emad’s projects include digitizing\compressing video for Channel-26. Emad also created a workflow by which video content was converted to a very specific format used for the Video-On-Demand (VoD) service provided by Comcast. Last but not least Emad is currently developing a new Media Asset Management (MAM) system for our old video archives.

Emad likes to relax on his downtime either by reading or listening to music. He is a member of the IEEE (Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers).

Emad graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Avionics Engineering Technology from Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University. Emad is currently seeking his second Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of North Florida.
