Apple has taken it to a whole new level, again.
October 12th brought us the release of iOS 5 and with over 200 new features, you’re going to want to take a look at how things have improved. You can get the details here.
Take a moment to remember the last time you backed up your iPhone with iTunes. What about your iPad or iPod Touch? With Apple’s recent release of iCloud that just might be the last time you have to pull out an actual cord to sync your device. Now, it’s as easy as the touch of a button... well, the touch of a screen anyway. Read more about iCloud here.
The most interesting new feature available is exclusive to the newly released iPhone. If you are one of the 1 million who placed their order the day the iPhone 4S was available, you’ll have the advantage of meeting Siri early. Think of “her” as your personal assistant. Need to change the time of your 2 o’clock meeting? Just say the word, done. People will now be talking to their phones, not just talking to each other on them. Learn more about the iPhone 4S.
And last but not least, I couldn’t write an article about iOS 5 without the mention of the genius behind it. Steve Jobs was so much visionary that he will continue to impact our daily lives well into the future in a way we didn’t even know we needed improving.
Ready to upgrade to iOS 5? You’ll need the newest version of iTunes. You can start here.
