Automotive Service Management Technology (A.A.S.)

The purpose of the Automotive Service Management Technology program is to educate, train and develop skills for entry into the service industry.

Program Overview

The Automotive Service Management Technology Associate in Applied Science (A.A.S.) will prepare you for employment as a service technician in the automotive service industry. This two-year training, selective access program, is hands-on and teaches you to locate problems and repair and service engines, fuel, emission, steering and suspension systems, brakes, drive trains and transmissions.

Using a combination of theory and practical instruction, students will be capable and comfortable with high-tech electronic engine controls and electrical and computerized systems upon completion. Safe, efficient work practices are also part of the excellent all-around instruction.

The Automotive Service Management Technology program prepares students for a job as an expert auto and light truck technician.
