Program Overview
The Healthcare Informatics Specialist Technical Certificate (T.C.) program gives students the technical skills needed to enter the health care delivery market with a focus on the implementation and maintenance of health information systems, such as the electronic health records.
Through a combination of lecture and laboratory education, students gain the fundamentals of biomedical sciences, medical terminology, health care delivery systems and basic principles of health care informatics.
