Aviation Maintenance Management (A.S.)

If you want the power to put planes in the air, our Aviation Maintenance Management Associate in Science (A.S.) degree program will be a perfect fit. Certified by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), this program provides a comprehensive hands-on education to fully prepare you for Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) certification. If you already hold an A&P certificate, you can use it for college credit and then complete general education and professional elective courses to earn your degree. Upon completion of our program you will be ready to supervise the maintenance and repair of aircraft to make sure it’s in top shape and set for flight.

The A.S. in Aviation Maintenance Management degree program offers a real-world education in aircraft, powerplants and an option for more in-depth training in the area of avionics. The Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) courses will prepare you with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to successfully pass the FAA certification exams to earn the FAA Mechanic industry certification. This certification is key to starting a great career as an Aviation Maintenance Technician. This degree gives graduates a competitive advantage for promotion as a lead or a supervisor. The avionics courses enhance students’ skills in preparation for the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) exams and the Aviation Electronic Technician Certification.

Our program collaborates with the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT), a leading professional society renowned for setting industry standards in training, education, and inspection methods within the NDT sector. Students in our program have the privilege of obtaining ASNT certifications, recognized worldwide for their excellence and adherence to industry best practices.
