The A.S. in Aviation Maintenance Management degree program offers a real-world education in aircraft, powerplants and an option for more in-depth training in the area of avionics. You will receive thorough instruction on the subjects of FAA regulations, blueprint reading, basic electricity, airframe systems and powerplant systems.
The Aviation Maintenance Technician (AMT) courses will prepare you with the foundational knowledge and skills needed to successfully pass the FAA certification exams to earn the FAA Mechanic industry certification. This certification is key to starting a great career as an Aviation Maintenance Technician. This degree gives graduates a competitive advantage for promotion as a lead or a supervisor. The avionics courses enhance students’ skills in preparation for the Federal Communication Commission (FCC) exams and the Aviation Electronic Technician Certification.

Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) is a technique for inspecting materials without causing harm to their future usability. It serves the vital purpose of uncovering imperfections while keeping the material’s original properties intact. In various industries, NDT plays a pivotal role in predicting the performance of components, ensuring structural integrity, and eliminating faulty parts. Professionals in NDT find opportunities in diverse sectors such as aerospace, manufacturing, theme parks, energy sectors, and more, opening doors to an array of career roles.
Our program collaborates with the American Society of Non-Destructive Testing (ASNT), a leading professional society renowned for setting industry standards in training, education, and inspection methods within the NDT sector. Students in our program have the privilege of obtaining ASNT certifications, recognized worldwide for their excellence and adherence to industry best practices.
