Student Well-Being
As students begin college, we know that you’re happy to see them learning, growing, and becoming independent adults. But, we also know there’s a certain amount of apprehension about their well-being.
We want to assure you that we take your concerns seriously and have provided the resources they’ll need to keep them healthy and safe. For physical well-being, we have 24-hour security at all our campuses and centers, and a special emergency telephone number with direct radio contact to all College security officers. In addition, we have an emergency hotline to keep students informed in case of threatening weather or other potential dangerous situations that may be pertinent to them. For emotional well-being, our counseling office is available to help students deal with personal or academic issues or, if necessary, may refer them to the proper agency for assistance. Keeping students happy and healthy is a priority at Florida State College.
