Its Commencement 2011, with over 3000 graduates for Florida State College at Jacksonville. 18-year-old Carmeisha Asberry is graduating with an Associate of Arts Degree in Political Science, while her closest friends are just finishing up high school!

Carmeisha started earning her degree at only 16, and she is one of seventy other Early College High School students receiving A.A. Degrees before their own high school graduation. Carmeisha was homeschooled by her mother Dorezsall Nash, a professor in the Liberal Arts Department at Florida State College at Jacksonville, and she was a huge inspiration to the young graduate. Check out the video to learn more about Carmeisha's journey to FSCJ, as well as the excitement surrounding the ceremony.
