The Kids Are All Right (aren’t they?)

The holidays bring special challenges for families affected by divorce.

By Michael Corby Mon, January 09, 2012 2:36 pm EDT

Do the parents compete for kids' affection with piles of gifts, wads of money and trips to Disney World, or is everyone getting along and behaving in the best interest of the kids--and each other? How do you handle holidays when one parent lives over the river and through the woods and across the continent? Florida State College Psychology Professor Matt Borer, Ph.D., talks with WAWS Anchor Mike Barz about how to maneuver through Christmas, or any holiday, and keep the children and parents happy as they try to create the new normal. (WAWS Fox 30, Dec. 23, 2011, Jacksonville, FL)
